A career that grew in one clear direction

I began with a special interest in neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy and Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy. As my career progressed, that grew to include extensive postgraduate education in women's and pelvic health.

My early clinical focus was neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy and Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy — back, neck and joint pain, sports and running injuries, and exercise rehabilitation for women and men of every activity level.

As my career progressed I pursued extensive postgraduate education in women's health, pelvic health, pregnancy, postpartum rehabilitation, fertility physiotherapy and TMJ rehabilitation — the natural evolution of my interests, and part of an ongoing commitment to evidence-based care.

Professional development

A commitment to lifelong learning

Postgraduate training chosen to raise the standard of care in the practice — not to collect certificates.

01

Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy (OMT)

Advanced manual therapy for the spine, pelvis and peripheral joints — the foundation of my neuromusculoskeletal practice.

02

Pelvic & Women's Health Physiotherapy

Postgraduate training in the pelvic floor, bladder and bowel function, pelvic pain and women's health through every life stage.

03

Advanced Pelvic Health Physiotherapy

Further training in complex presentations: persistent pelvic pain, prolapse and pelvic floor rehabilitation under load.

04

Advanced Fertility Physiotherapy

Supportive care through fertility investigation and treatment — pelvic and abdominal mobility, breathing and stress physiology.

05

TMJ Rehabilitation

Assessment and treatment of jaw pain, clicking and clenching, and the headache and neck patterns that accompany them.

06

Dry Needling

For muscular pain, trigger points and movement restriction, used alongside manual therapy and rehabilitation.

07

Therapeutic Taping & Strapping

Injury support and offloading of painful structures, so training can often continue safely.

08

Ongoing Professional Development

Continual postgraduate education, so your care reflects current evidence rather than old habit.

Treatment philosophy

Personalised, collaborative and empowering

Physiotherapy works best done with you rather than to you — listened to, properly understood, and involved in every decision.

01

One-on-one, every session

A private room and your full appointment, start to finish.

02

A thorough assessment

Your full story, then a careful examination — accurate treatment needs an accurate picture.

03

Hands-on where it helps

Manual therapy, dry needling and taping when clinically indicated, alongside active rehabilitation.

04

Individualised rehabilitation

Built around your body, your history and the demands of work, sport and family.

05

Exercise matched to your goals

Short, specific and progressive — aimed at what you actually want to do again.

06

Education that empowers

You'll understand what's happening and why, so the gains last.

A little about me

Beyond the treatment room

Marathon runner, wife and mother to three young daughters — much of what I treat, I've also lived.

Running has taught me what my patients live through: long training blocks, injuries arriving at the worst possible time, and the mental side of performance that rarely gets discussed.

Three pregnancies and three postpartum recoveries shaped my clinical work too — I know what it is to rebuild strength while caring for small children, and how much it matters to be taken seriously.
