Practice terms
A short, plain-language summary of how appointments, fees and consent work at the practice — so there are no surprises.
Appointments and cancellations
Initial appointments are 60 minutes and follow-up appointments are 45 minutes. Please arrive a few minutes early so that your session can start on time.
If you need to change or cancel an appointment, we ask for at least 24 hours' notice so that the time can be offered to someone else. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged for.
Fees, medical aid and payment
Fees are explained before treatment begins and are payable on the day of your appointment unless agreed otherwise. An invoice with the correct procedure codes is provided so that you can submit a claim.
Medical aid cover varies by scheme and plan. Confirming your available benefits remains your responsibility, and any shortfall or amount not covered by your scheme remains payable by you.
Consent to treatment
Assessment and treatment are always explained before they begin, and nothing is done without your consent. You may decline any part of an assessment or treatment, or ask to stop at any point, without affecting your care.
