A dedicated area of care

Women's & Pelvic Health Physiotherapy

One of the two areas I've pursued postgraduate training in, alongside neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy. Private, unhurried appointments in Johannesburg for the pelvis, abdomen and everything that supports them.

What this care looks like

Common, but never something to simply accept

Leaking when you sneeze, heaviness in the pelvis, pain with intimacy, a core that still feels disconnected — these are common, and they usually respond well to a thorough assessment and a properly individualised plan.

Every appointment is one-to-one in a private room, with consent and comfort leading the way. You'll leave understanding what's happening and what comes next.

Talya has been so much more than a physiotherapist throughout my journey with interstitial cystitis. From my very first appointment, she created a space where I felt completely safe, heard and understood. She is incredibly professional, compassionate and knowledgeable, always tailoring her care to what I needed… Her kindness, empathy and unwavering support made a lasting difference in my life. If you’re looking for a physiotherapist who genuinely cares about your wellbeing, I couldn’t recommend Talya more highly.

Through every stage

From pre-conception to postpartum, and long after

Care here follows the arc of your life rather than a single episode — preparing for pregnancy, moving comfortably through it, recovering afterwards, and staying strong through the years that follow.

Where your concern sits outside this area, it's treated with the same depth: back and neck pain, sports injuries, headaches and jaw pain are all part of the practice.
